Highlights

A transferred National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) employee claimed reimbursement for the expenses she incurred using a second vehicle incident to her move. GAO held that the claimant was entitled to reimbursement, since: (1) NOAA authorized relocation travel using two vehicles; and (2) the claimant showed that one vehicle could not accommodate her family and their personal belongings. Accordingly, the claim was allowed.
