[FBI Employee's Claim for Temporary Quarters Expenses]

The Federal Bureau of Investigation requested a decision concerning a transferred employee's claim for reimbursement for temporary quarters subsistence expenses (TQSE) he incurred when he remained at his old duty station. GAO held that the claimant was not entitled to reimbursement, since the period of authorized TQSE terminated when his family occupied their new permanent quarters. Accordingly, the claim was denied.
