A former National Park Service (NPS) employee claimed additional payment of lump-sum leave incident to her retirement, contending that she was entitled to more leave than NPS allowed, since she could not use forfeited annual leave because of an illness. GAO held that NPS accurately reconstructed the claimant's leave record, and was not required to restore the forfeited annual leave. Accordingly, the claim was denied.
