Highlights
The Army requested a decision regarding a claim by a firm which towed and stored an immobile Army trailer. GAO held that the Army should: (1) pay the firm for its towing services and storage services up to the time the Army planned to recover the trailer, since those services were beneficial to the Army; and (2) not pay for storage after that time, since those services were not beneficial to the Army. Accordingly, the claim was allowed in part and denied in part.
