[Request for Reconsideration of Claims Group's Denial of Claim for Reimbursement for Meals]

An Army employee requested reconsideration of the Claims Group's denial of his claims for reimbursement for meals during a training course. GAO held that the employee was not entitled to reimbursement since he: (1) was aware that the Army would provide meals and lodging; and (2) did not show that the Army failed to provide him with meals and lodgings. Accordingly, the claim was denied.
