Highlights

A firm requested reconsideration of the dismissal of its untimely protest against an Army contract award, contending that it timely protested within 10 days of the award, and its protest was late only because it was misaddressed. GAO held that: (1) it dismissed the protest because it did not receive it within 10 days of the time the Army denied the protester's initial appeal; and (2) the fact that the protest was misaddressed did not excuse its untimeliness. Accordingly, the dismissal was affirmed.
