An Internal Revenue Service employee working a flexible schedule requested an additional day of paid leave because her office was closed due to weather conditions during her regularly scheduled day off. GAO found that since the office was closed during her scheduled day off, she was not entitled to an additional day off since time off for "flextime" is nonpay status. Accordingly, the employee is not entitled to another day off without a charge to leave or credit hours.
