Highlights
A contractor disagreed with the amount of a contracting officer's assessment for excess costs as a result of the termination of a contract for default and the subsequent reprocurement. The Contract Disputes Act requires that appeal of an contracting officer's adverse decision be made either to the contracting agency's board of contract appeals or to the U. S. Claims Court. Consequently, GAO did not consider the disagreement.
