Request for Reconsideration

Highlights

A firm requested reconsideration of a GAO decision which held that it could not be permitted to extend its bid acceptance period to qualify for award, since it had not offered the acceptance period requested in the invitation for bids, and any such extension would be prejudicial to the other bidders. However, the requirement no longer exists and the solicitation has been canceled. Thus, even if the protester were permitted to extend its offered bid acceptance period, no award would be made under the invitation. Since the request for reconsideration was moot, it was dismissed.
