Highlights

A firm requested reimbursement of attorney's fees and costs incurred while pursuing a protest which was sustained by GAO. The claimant contended that pursuant to the Equal Access to Justice Act it is entitled to reimbursement of the costs incurred in successfully pursuing the protest. GAO held that the act does not authorize recovery of attorney's fees and costs incurred by a protester in pursuing a bid protest. Accordingly, the claim was denied.
