Request for Relief

Relief was requested in the amount necessary to cover a shortage in the imprest fund account of a disbursing agent and the principal cashier. The information submitted indicated that the shortage resulted from a burgulary. Based on the investigative finding, the agency determined that the loss occurred while the employees were acting in the discharge of their official duties and without fault or negligence. Accordingly, relief was granted.
