Highlights

A company requested reconsideration of a decision wherein GAO declined to consider a grant related procurement complaint. The complainant failed to seek resolution of its complaint through the established agency procedures. As a basis for its request for reconsideration, the protester asserted that the previous decision was erroneous both in fact and in law. It further argued that GAO was abrogating to each individual agency initial and exclusive jurisdiction to determine these matters, and was also abrogating its statutory duties and responsibilities. GAO found that the protester only stated its conclusions and did not offer evidence to demonstrate any error of law or information not previously considered. Therefore, there was no basis upon which to reconsider the matter, and the request for reconsideration was denied.
