Repayment of Enlisted Member for Basic Allowance for Quarters

The propriety of repaying basic allowance for quarters (BAQ) to an enlisted member who was paying child support was questioned. Since the member was relieved by the courts of the obligation to pay child support, he was not entitled to BAQ on behalf of dependents. The question of whether the member was entitled to BAQ without dependents should be determined by the Air Force.
