Claim for Cable Television Rental Fee Expense Incurred by Employee in Authorized Temporary Quarters

An advance decision was requested on whether a federal employee was entitled to reimbursement for a cable television rental charge which was incurred while in authorized temporary quarters. Such expenses may be reimbursable provided the expense was ordinarily included in the price of a room in the location concerned. Therefore, if the agency involved determines that this is the case, the claim may be paid.
