Request for Cancellation of Solicitation

A company requested that an invitation for bids be canceled and that existing agreements be continued, alleging that the agency had no authority to invite bids, the bid specifications were inadequate, and that the rate tender under which service would be offered would result in the submission of unrealistic rates. The invitation has been canceled, but the request for continuation of existing agreements is not a matter for consideration by GAO.
