Entitlement to Readjustment Pay

A decision was requested on the entitlement to readjustment pay of an officer who was retained on active duty beyond 5 years for medical reasons. The officer was released from active duty involuntarily since he had requested augmentation to the Regular Marine Corps or unconditional further duty. He was, therefore, entitled to readjustment pay.
