Claim for Personal and Dependent Travel Allowances on a Foreign Air Carrier

A retired Army officer appealed a disallowal of his claim for personal and dependent travel allowances incident to his retirement. However, travel performed on a foreign air carrier was not authorized at Government expense where carriers of U.S. registry were available. The disallowal was sustained.
