Request To Charge Current Operating Expense Account for a Shortage in Imprest Fund

Concurrence was requested to charge ACTION's current operating expense account for a shortage which appears to be uncollectable in the imprest fund account of a Sierra Leone national cashier. If documentation indicates that fault or negligence by the cashier caused the loss and that collection cannot be effected, ACTION can charge the loss to its current operating expense account.
