Bid Bonds Sufficient To Cover Contemplated 13 Month Contract Period

The third low bidder for janitorial services alleged that penal sums of the bid bonds of the two highest bidders were inadequate for a 5-year option period. The solicitation contemplates a 13-month performance period. Bid bonds are sufficient to cover this period, since exercise of Government option to renew is contingent.
