Claim for Additional Retired Pay Based on Correction of Records

A decision was requested on the propriety of paying additional retired pay as a result of the correction of naval records. The action did not constitute a correction of record under 10 U.S.C. 1552 because it created no new facts and gave the member no new entitlement to retired pay. Since the claim for retired pay accrued more than 10 years before the claim was filed, payment is barred by the statute of limitations.
