Entitlement to Combat Infantryman Badge Pay for Period Prior to Award of Badge

A former military member claimed combat infantryman badge pay for the period of service prior to the date of the award of the badge. The applicable regulations provided that the effective date for such pay was the date of the order announcing the award of that badge. Since the former member received such pay from the date of the award until his date of discharge, he had received his full entitlement under the act providing for combat infantryman badge pay and was not entitled to such pay for any period prior to the award.
