An advance decision was requested regarding the entitlement of a military member to reimbursement for dependent travel and dislocation allowances incident to a permanent change of station from California to a restricted area overseas and then to another station in California. The member was entitled to transportation of his dependent at government expense, to a dislocation allowance incident to the dependent's travel to Georgia and to California, and to household goods transportation from Georgia to California since the location in Georgia was a designated location where his dependent established a residence during the interim period during which he was stationed abroad in a restricted area.
