Payment of Basic Allowance of Quarters on Account of Legitimate Child Residing With Former Wife

A decision was requested with regard to payment of a basic allowance for quarters to Capt. Robert Carl Delones on behalf of his child who resided with the member's former wife. Although the member paid $30 per month in a fund for his child, this amount was used to pay off a promissory note and was not used for child support. The question of child support was doubtful, and the member's claim for increased quarters allowance was denied.
