Reimbursement of Luncheon Fees at Annual Meeting

An Authorized Certifying Officer of the Forest Service requested GAO's opinion concerning whether a voucher in the amount of $3 may be certified for payment. GAO noted that the cost of the employee's meal was not separate from the registration fee for attending the conference. Accordingly, GAO held that the voucher may be certified for payment.
