THIS IS IN REPLY TO YOUR LETTER OF OCTOBER 16, 1968, REQUESTING INFORMATION CONCERNING YOUR CLAIM, Z-2359427, FOR PAYMENT OF $40.96 FOR 16 HOURS' SALARY FOR THE PERIOD NOVEMBER 2 TO 3, 1967, AS AN EMPLOYEE OF THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE, FOREST SERVICE, FRENCHBURG JOB CORPS CENTER, FRENCHBURG, KENTUCKY.

WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED BY THE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION IN EFFECT THAT ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN TO RETROACTIVELY CHANGE YOUR APPOINTMENT SO AS TO ELIMINATE THE 180-DAY LIMITATION ON YOUR EMPLOYMENT DURING THE PERIOD IN QUESTION.
