Opinion as to the Scope of the Indian Preference Enacted by Section 12 of the Indian Reorganization Act of 1934

Congress requested GAO's opinion on the scope of the Indian preference enacted by section 12 of the Indian Reorganization Act of 1934. Specifically, GAO was asked its opinion as to the correctness of the Department of the Interior's interpretation of the scope of the application of the Indian Preference Laws of 1934.
