Independent CPA Audit of Military Traffic Management Command

GAO reviewed an independent accounting firm's audit of the Military Traffic Management Command (MTMC). GAO concurred with the firm's findings that MTMC did not properly record: (1) accounts payable; (2) year-end accruals; (3) contingent liabilities; or (4) accounts receivable. GAO also found that MTMC did not: (1) account for or reconcile fixed assets; or (2) record lumber returned to inventory.
