Federal Crop Insurance Corporation Transfer

Group Director Clifton W. Fowler has asked about the propriety of a $50 million transfer from the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation's (FCIC) fiscal year 1985 appropriation for Administrative and Operating Expenses to the appropriation for the FCIC Fund. The transfer was effected under the authority of section 2257 of title 7 of the United States Code.
