Use of Appropriated Funds for the Payment of Parking Tickets

GAO's Office of Administrative Services requested determination as to whether or not parking tickets received by Federal employees in the performance of their official duties and while driving government-furnished vehicles should be paid to the District of Columbia government, and whether the GAO may use funds from its appropriation for the payment of such parking tickets received by its mail delivery personnel and supply delivery personnel in the performance of their regular duties.
