Payment of Voucher for Dinner for National Security Resource Board Employee

An Authorized Certifying Officer of the National Security Resources Board requested GAO's opinion concerning whether a voucher in the amount of $11.83 may be certified for payment. GAO noted that the employee's meal was not part of the conference registration fee. Accordingly, GAO held that the voucher may not be certified for payment.
