Integrated Technology Works, Inc.-Teltara, Inc.

A firm protested a Navy contract award for janitorial services, contending that the Navy improperly determined that its technical proposal exceeded the 30-page limit imposed by the solicitation, and therefore improperly failed to evaluate the entire proposal. GAO found that the protester's proposal failed to comply with the requirement that the type be no smaller than 12 pitch, and the Navy's reformatting of the proposal into required type size--which caused the proposal to exceed 30-pages--was reasonable. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
