Protest of Army Rejection of Bid for Operation of Dining Facilities

A firm protested the Army's rejection of its bid to operate full-time dining facilities, contending that the Army's amendment revising the date and time for receipt of initial offers invited errors as to the intended closing date. GAO held that the Army properly rejected the protester's bid as late, because the bid was received two days after the amended due date for receipt. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
