Dear Mr. Feldman:
This responds to your letter of June 2, 1987, requesting that we relieve Bashir Dultz, Class B Cashier and Louise Brown and John Dieffenderfer, Alternate Cashiers, under 31 U.S.C. Sec. 3527(a) for the loss of $3,475.35 when the American Embassy in Tripoli was attacked and burned on December 2, 1979.
There is no evidence in the facts presented of any negligence on the part of the cashiers which may have contributed to the loss and relief is therefore granted. See, B-203726, July 10, 1981.
