Highlights

A firm protested an Army contract award for renovation of electrical services, contending that: (1) the awardee's bid should be rejected for failing to acknowledge an amendment; and (2) a mistake in its bid should be allowed to be corrected. GAO held that the protester provided no basis to support its allegations, since: (1) the awardee's failure of acknowledgement could be waived as an immaterial amendment; and (2) a bid could not be accepted where it was apparent that it was based on a mistake. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
