Highlights

A firm protested a Defense Personnel Support Center (DPSC) contract award for juice, coffee, and tea products, as well as dispensing equipment, contending that DPSC's evaluation and selection of a higher-priced proposal was unreasonable. GAO held that: (1) DPSC reasonably determined that the awardee's superior past experience and performance outweighed its slightly higher price; and (2) protester's mere disagreement with the evaluation's outcome did not render DPSC's judgment unreasonable. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
