[Protest of AID Contract Award for Technical Assistance]
B-259648: Jan 12, 1995
- Full Report:
A firm protested an Agency for International Development (AID) contract award for technical assistance, contending that AID should have determined that the awardee was ineligible for award, since the awardee: (1) provided advisory services to AID during the procurement; and (2) evaluated its performance under a similar contract. GAO held that the: (1) protester untimely filed its protest more than 10 days after it knew the basis of protest; (2) protester failed to timely submit information that may have disqualified the awardee; and (3) protest did not concern an issue of sufficient interest to warrant consideration under the significant-issue exception. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
