[Air Force Officer's Claim for Indebtedness Waiver]

An Air Force Officer claimed a waiver of his indebtedness for erroneous salary payments. GAO held that the claimant was provided a paychart when he was promoted and could have detected the overpayments by comparing his leave and earning statements to the chart. Accordingly, the claim was denied.
