The National Security Agency (NSA) requested a decision regarding a retransferred employee's claim for real estate expenses he incurred incident to the purchase of a new residence at his former duty station. GAO held that the claimant was not entitled to reimbursement for real estate expenses, since NSA notified him of his retransfer within the maximum 3-year period. Accordingly, the claim was denied.
