Highlights

A Federal Aviation Administration employee appealed his denied reimbursement claim for real estate expenses incurred when he sold one of two homes following a permanent transfer. GAO held that the claimant was residing at the claimed home when he was notified of the transfer, which was a condition for entitlement to reimbursement for real estate expenses. Accordingly, the claim was allowed.
