The National Park Service requested a decision concerning a transferred employee's claim for reimbursement for a fee that a relocation company charged him for use of his former residence for 23 days after the relocation company purchased the residence. GAO held that the claimant did not show the necessary intent to vacate his former residence after the relocation company purchased it. Accordingly, the claim was denied.
