Highlights

A firm requested reconsideration of the dismissal of its request for reconsideration because it was not filed within 10 working days after the basis for reconsideration was known, contending that it was not informed of the requirement. GAO has held that: (1) under bid protest regulations, there is no provision for waiving the time requirements for requests for reconsideration; and (2) protesters are charged with constructive knowledge of these regulations. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
