Highlights
A firm protested the Navy's award of a contract under a small business set-aside for hazardous waste management, contending that the awardee's affiliation with a large business rendered it ineligible for the award. GAO would not consider the protest, since the Small Business Administration has conclusive authority to determine matters of small business size status for the purposes of federal procurement. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
