[Request for Reconsideration]

An individual requested reconsideration of a decision which established his liability for excess weight charges incurred in the transportation of his household goods following an official transfer. He contended that the weight computation was incorrect and that he should be relieved from any liability for excess charges. GAO stated that the individual did not present any evidence to show that the actual weight of his household goods differed from the weight determined by the carrier. Therefore, GAO found no basis to reverse the previous decision. Accordingly, the prior disallowance of the claim was affirmed.
