Comptroller General's Annual Report 1982

The activities of GAO are reported for fiscal year (FY) 1982. During FY 1982, Congress faced many critical issues relating to the Nation's security and economic and social well-being. To present most clearly what GAO has done to assist Congress, the annual report is divided into two parts. Volume I highlights some of the major efforts and accomplishments of GAO. Volume II contains detailed information on FY 1982 activities, legislative recommendations, together with the financial and other benefits of GAO work.
