Highlights

A firm requested reconsideration of a decision in which GAO dismissed as untimely its protest that the propeller specifications in a solicitation for Coast Guard cutters prevented it from participating in the project as a subcontractor. The protester presented numerous arguments for its reconsideration. However, GAO held that the protester did not provide new evidence that the protest was timely filed, or that the exception to the timeliness rules should be invoked. Accordingly, the prior decision dismissing the protest was sustained.
