Acceptability of Procedural Change for Recertification of Dependency Certificates for Entitlement to BAQ by Members of the Army Reserves

An Assistant Secretary of the Army requested a decision concerning the acceptability of changes in the procedures for recertification of dependency certificates for entitlement to basic allowance for quarters by Army Reserve members. He proposed modifications that would allow recertification by use of a computer listing and extend the period of recertification beyond one year for Reserve members whose annual training periods are not scheduled within the annual period. The modifications were approved.
