A company protested the rejection of its bid as late. The protester did not dispute the fact that its bid was late but argued that the Postal Service guaranteed delivery and the protester could not control the actions of the Postal Service. Therefore, the bid should not be rejected as late. The protester also contended that since its bid would result in a considerable savings to the Government, its consideration would be in the Government's best interest. The protester's bid was properly rejected by the contracting officer. It was the protester's responsibility to assure timely arrival of its bid. The protest was denied.
