Reimbursement of Real Estate Expenses in Connection With the Sale of Residence More Than 3 Years After Transfer to a New Official Duty Station

An employee who transferred from Newport News to Staunton, Virginia, is not entitled to reimbursement for real estate expenses incurred in connection with the sale of his home at the old duty station, since settlement did not occur within 2 years of the date on which the employee reported to the new duty station.
