Highlights

A company requested reformation of the price of a contract, alleging, after award, an error in the total amount of the bid. The company's all or none bid price was substantially higher than the total of the individual bids for the same item and higher than current market appraisal; the contracting officer should have been on constructive notice of the possibility of an error and requested verification. The contract may be rescinded, but not reformed, because the evidence showed only that a mistake was made. It did not show the manner in which the error occurred nor the intended bid price.
