Transferred Employee's Claim for Transportation Expenses

A civilian employee requested reconsideration of the disallowance of his claim for travel and transportation expenses incurred incident to a transfer. The employee requested the transfer and, since the transfer was for the convenience and benefit of the employee and not in the interest of the Government, the employee may not be reimbursed for transportation expenses.
